WHADUP PEOPLE? :D

  i've been so hesitate of assignments and  also gratifies activities in university. Particularly in faculty,  FIB (Faculty of Humane Sciences). Therefore i'm so sorry my blog has been neglected in so long due to my studies.

  University thingy always be so exciting for me; these new places, new insane friends, awesome teachers, a bunch of new events and absolutely new stories.  

        

  The differences are quite noticeable since i go to this university in Depok (Universitas Indonesia). One thing is about the scenery; i can watch a mountain (if Eja gives me a ride through Margonda street) and a lot of trees on my way to go there. This scenery i couldn't get when i live in Jakarta and on my way to went to  Kindergarten until High School. All i got were those boring buildings, mall, irritating pollution, and too much vehicles.

          I got a lot of fun in university, but i got a whole lot more assignment. Therefore i'm jaded oftentimes. So, on week-end i take a train to go to Bogor Botanical Garden with Eja a.k.a Tentara Palestina. This place is chosen because first it's not far away from our campus, i can watch a plenty of robust trees over there, feel the fresh air, listen to melody from birds, and serenity.

"Monolog Inggit Ganarsih" 

which was held in FIB UI. I'm interested in history and im one of Bung Karno admirer so I didn't get bored for about 2 hours watching monolog by Happy Salma who roled as Inggit Ganarsih. i knew something new about Inggit and Soekarno's life, and life lesson from Inggit as well; "serve with sincerity". In the end of monolog, I gave her a standing applause, so did others :)

Sting Back to Bass Tour @ Jakarta

What up y'all? :)

happy to know we are still alive on this earth. fiuh.  i love this planet anyway.

on 15th December, i had seen a marvelous performance by my favorite spectacular musician, grandpa Sting in MEIS, Ancol. Yes, it's Sting, people! one of music legend.

He brought his band; a high class guitar slut, named Dominic Miller, Vinnie Colaiuta (on backing vocal), Peter (on violin), Jo Lawry (on drum) and David Sancious (on keyboard).

so here's my stories...

i've heard the news that Sting would be in Jakarta since a couples months ago. i've been really anxious if i couldn't buy the concert ticket because i knew that ticket price would be that really expensive. on november, i realized my money wasn't enough to by the ticket , i tried to forget about the concert. but then.. i've been dreaming of watch Sting's concert TWICE. that woke me up in the morning so i started looking for people who sell the ticket with more affordable price.

14th December 11pm,  during me and my friends from college were preparing about the play competition, i got a message from my high school friend, Inan. he told me that he got 4 Sting's ticket and he sold with affordable price. OH MY GOODNESS. 

and yeah on 15th december, we went to Sting's concert,baby!!! 

traffic jam totally sucks. Inan and i have arrived lilte bit late... ini yang terjadi...

Inan: "buset kok yang nonton pada tua semua sih, Tus?"

gue: "lah emang kenapa?"

Inan: "yaampun selera lo.. ckckck"

gue:  (-_____-)

saat menghampiri bangku yang kosong diantara bapak-bapak dan ibu-ibu...

gue, Inan: "permisi..."

seorang ibu: "yaampun sepasang remaja ini lucu sekali ya, nonton Sting berduaan. lah kita rame-rame"

gue, Inan: *cengok

it's my first time watching a concert not in festival, so i didnt really feel the euphoria. 

on our way down after the concert was over, i met these cool dudes... Piyu Padi and Vincent Rompies (again). dateng ke satu acara keren, ketemu orang-orang keren juga, woo-hoo.

thanks a lot to Inan yang udah jemput-anter pulang gue dan nemenin gue nonton konser ini walaupun cuma tau 2 lagu. lo emang temen yang baik! :D

last holiday, Grace (E.T), Calista (Saodah), Iyas (Iyaf) and i did bolang thingy (adventure) we were wandering Jakarta, because we didn't have much time to travel or visiting another city and we decided to not meet up at mall or cafe. so..yeah, we visited museums.

however, we had a great time!

  
 that day had started with met up with Calista at a store in Kemang. it's LoeGue. there is an exhibition of architecture. 

i pretty love this building, every room has different theme.

HOLA! akhirnya gue ngeblog lagi. Dengan berbagai rintangan yang gue hadapi akhirnya gue sekarang tinggal di kosan dan diterima di jurusan Sastra Prancis, Universitas Indonesia. Alhamdulillah Puji Tuhan Oom Shanti Shanti.

ini kegiatan yang gue lakukan di universitas sejauh ini; 

        9 Juni 2012, saat daftar ulang mahasiswa dan bertepatan dengan pernikahan abang gue, mas Deni dan mbak Shinta. Acara dilaksanakan di Bandung. Dimulai dengan kisah karena gue ditinggal dirumah seorang diri dan seluruh keluarga besar gue menghadiri acara penikahan abang gue, maka gue dititipkan nyokap ke abang Ojeg langganan yang nganterin gue ke UI (dari Mampang ke Depok).

       Gue pikir daftar ulang nya lama karena harus ngantri dan macem-macem. Ternyata hanya 5 menit dan cuma menyerahkan berkas! kampretos! Gue menenangkan diri dengan makan pop mie di pinggir danau sambil berfikir untuk nyusul keluarga gue ke Bandung.

       Gue minta alamat gedung tempat acaranya ke abang. Tapi nyokap larang gue untuk nyusul. Akhirnya jam 3 sore gue langsung ke stasiun Gambir dan beli tiket kereta tujuan Bandung. 3 jam perjalanan cukup melelahkan, tapi gue berasa tengil dikala itu. sampe di stasiun Bandung, gue langsung naik taxi, lalu sampailah gue di gedung acara jam 8.30 malam #oh-yeah.

     dengan masih berpakaian cardigan + jeans + converse sneakers + muka lepek ---> gue masuk gedung acara. Tamu dan dan panitia acara ngeliatin gue.. mungkin pada mikir "ini gembel ngapain masuk?" gue stay cool, gue langsung ambil makanan, gue laper banget, bro.

lanjut,

- kegiatan ospek terbagi menjadi 3 ; ospek universitas (sudah terlaksana), ospek fakultas (sudah terlaksana) dan ospek jurusan (belum terlaksana). Nah ospek dari universitas dan fakultas itu bisa bikin jiwa gue makin nasionalis #cieelah.

-acara halal bihalal jurusan Sastra Prancis. Gue dapet tugas jadi kordinasi dekorasi. Capek tapi seru lah. Temanya: French Mime. dan berakhir dengan MATI LAMPU se-campus.

over all, senang loh dapet teman-teman baru dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia :)

oiya, walaupun UTS berlangsung, gue juga sempet-sempetin nonton salah satu acara kampus gue, yaitu Band Competition UI 2012. menurut gue acaranya seru banget banget karena para pesertanya kreatif banget dan gue berasa kayak nonton konser gratis beneran, dan pada dasarnya gue emang kangen euphoria konser.

salah satu guest star nya yaitu band bernama Rockidz. mereka terdiri dari anak-anak yang masih duduk dibangku kelas 5 SD sampai kelas 1 SMP. eitsss, mereka bukan sembarang band cilik biasa loh!

Kenapa? walaupun umur mereka masih baru menginjak masa remaja, mereka udah tau dan bisa memainkan lagu-lagu legend dengan lincah. itu terlihat dari style dari setiap personil saat memainkan instrumen mereka (oke, gue sotoy banget).

lagu pertama yang mereka bawain; "it's my life" nya Bon Jovi. gue pun yang tadinya berdiri di paling belakang, langsung cepet-cepet berdiri di paling depan stage.
lagu kedua: "i want to break free" nya Queen. dan lagu ketiga: lagu ciptaan mereka sendiri. lagunya agak bertema cinta monyet labil tapi.. alunan musik yang mereka pake yaitu classic rock. lagu ke-4: payphone dari Marron 5.

intinya: These cute kids were rocking the stage that night!

gue nonton bareng Natha sama Imel, setelah performance dari Rockidz selesai, kita ke back stage untuk minta foto sama mereka. dan gue terbesit untuk minta stick drum dari drummer Rockidz, yaitu Farrel. beginilah percakapan yg terjadi:

gue: Farrel boleh minta stick drum kamu?
Farrel: sebentar ya kak ada di mamaku. *lari kenceng ke mobil
gue: iya..
Farrel: ini kak.. *kasih 2 stick drum ke gue
kita pun memuji mereka terus...

oiya, pas Rockidz mau turun panggung si drummer melempar stick drum, dan cowok-cowok pada rebutan dan dorong-mendorong. dan beruntunglah saya gak perlu rebutan.
